As a former teacher and parent of a special needs child and prior Chairperson of the Special Ed CAC and Budget CAC Current Member for our local school district,
I feel it is imperative that CTA begin working in tandem with school district administrators to alleviate layoffs and further diminish the quality of education CA provides our children.
Administrators are asking for Full Flexibility of Categorical Funds.
We are being told that CTA is thwarting this effort.
